Gif Animation for non-profit

The goal of the project was to promote a non-profit organization called A21. This organization is focused on abolishing slave trafficking around the world.  The animated gif was required to be under 200mb.

I started the project researching to see what had been done in promoting the fight against sex trafficking . I was surprised at the small amount of content that was available online. I came across a stock image that sparked my imagination.

I thought of the arcade games that had a crane you controlled to try to grab a prize at the bottom of the container.

Researching more and I found images that inspired me and found useful to the concept.

I was interested in creating a clean and simple design to get the message across quickly and to help with the size of the file. I used images found online and transformed them into an image I thought communicated the message.

I used Adobe illustrator and Photoshop to transform the images. I then used the time line feature in Photoshop to assemble each frame.

I am happy with the project. It quickly grabs the attention of the viewer communicating the desired message while staying within the 200 KB requirement.
